Our Story

This website was born in 2015 spearheaded by Ghana’s multiple award winning blogger Jullie Jay Kanz. OUr articles have been featured by Voice of America, Paris En Mode France, Startun Magazine

Jullie Jay-Kanz

Jullie Jay-Kanz  (Founder & CEO)

Jullie Jay-Kanz (born Juliana Ntiamoah on 9 December) is a blogger, showbiz critic, PR Consultant, Online Advertiser and a publicist from Accra, Ghana.

She was born to Alice Ntiamoah and the late Justice John Ntiamoah. Jullie grew up in Techiman in the Brong Ahafo region where she had her primary school and JHS education at St. Francis R/C Primary, Mount Camel Primary and Good Shepherd Educational Institute.

She then furthered her high school education at Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS where she studied general science even though she had great interest in reading,writing and acting. At Yaa Asantewaa Girls high school, she was one of the reputable sportswomen in the school as she captained the school’s hockey  teams.

She holds a Bachelor of science Degree in Nursing From Ghana’s Premier and Best Private  Valley View University.

She has worked  as a publicist and African representative for Jamaican Record Label Kim’s Media House (Jamaican Record label for Shattawale), publicist for gospel record label DaveJoy Productions, Founder for Gospel Africa Magazine , worked as a  Publicist For Jamaican Dancehall Artiste Jemineye,

Currently the publicist for Ghanaian Gospel Stars Joyce Blessing  and has also worked with international Jamaican Shawn Storm dancehall star Shawn Storm, Ghana’s Epixode, AKSongstress and British Got Talent star Gold Kay.

Jullie is the first African female reggae and dancehall blogger and through her efforts has been able to put Ghanaian dancehall artists on international reggae and dancehall online platforms. She was the first female to host a riddim in Africa (Social Media Riddim) in 2015 and the second in the world after Jamaican female producer DJ Sunshine.

Through the riddim project which had 2 million downloads and plays, and involved all other artistes across countries like Zimbabwe, USA , Ghana, Uganda, South Africa, Trinidad, Jamaica and more, she unearthed so many talents and rose to fame as one of the best female bloggers and promoters in Africa. She was rated as one of the best writers by world famous Dr. Maxwell Heather and Larry London, the hosts of Music Time in Africa Show on Voice of America Radio based in Washington DC in 2015 on an article she wrote for Stonebwoy.

In 2015 and 2016 she was nominated for the most influential student in health science(won) and most influential blogger and writer. In 2017 she grabbed nomination for the most influential blogger in Ghana being the only female and the youngest among pioneer Ghanaian bloggers.

She won the best blogger at Bama awards in 2018 and the best lifestyle blogger at fashion and lifestyle award 2019
