John Painstil , former Blackstars defender has called out the management of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) .
Painstil claims the GFA are being hypocritical for allegedly showing Christian Atsu fake affection after his demise.
The Ghanaian footballer the GFA deliberately expelled Christian Atsu from the Blackstars team when he was without a club, but they now want to participate in his funeral.
The GFA is a hypocritical organization that needs to be denounced, John Painstil Alleged.
John Painstil reportedly said the following in an exclusive interview with Original FM:
“You snubbed him and kicked him out of the Black Stars at age 31. Atsu has been struggling to get a permanent stay in a club since the snub.

We all know the value and respect your club gives you when you play for your nation. Don’t pretend you loved him because you don’t at all”
The news about Christian Atsu’s broke on Saturday 18th February,2023 after he got trapped under a house in Turkey’s earthquake. Preparations towards the Ghana international ‘s one week celebration which will come off on the 4th of March in ACCRA is currently underway.
Government has promised to give the late footballer a befitting burial.
