Vice president of the republic of Ghana , His Excellency Dr Mahmoud Bawumia has held a meeting with the Black Princesses , Ghana’s Women’s U-20 team ahead of FIFA 2022 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.
Following their qualification in a 5-1 victory on aggregate in their final round qualifying tie against their Ethiopian counterparts at the Accra Sports Stadium in March,2022, Dr Bawumia met the team to congratulate them on their feat on behalf of the president Akuffo Addo.
He also urged the Black Princesses to press forward for the ultimate to win the trophy for Ghana.

Dr Bawumia promised the Black Princesses some bonuses from the president to show appreciation.
The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will commence from 10th August to 28th August in Costa Rica.

Ghana is making her 6th appearance at the 16-nation Women’s World Cup.
