Prince David Osei , a popular Ghanaian movie star, has described as “childish”, the attitude of renowned rapper Sarkodie; says rapper erred by labelling Yvonne Nelson a whore.
In a Twitter post on Thursday, June 29, 2023, the actor expressed what can be described as anger toward Sarkodie for engaging in disrespectful behavior towards women.
The ‘Heart of Men’ star referred to Sarkodie’s track as “childish tantrums,” while stressing the importance of maintaining a mature and respectful attitude in any dispute.
He also specifically addressed Sarkodie’s argument that Yvonne Nelson was ‘For the Streets’ a twang describing her as a promiscuous woman.

According to the father of two, Sarkodie engaged in unprotected sex with Yvonne Nelson, impregnate her and then proceeded to label her with derogatory names.
“Childish Tantrums!! Never let the kid in you destroy the king in you … Whoever sleeps with a woman get her pregnant and don’t own up as man and goes about labeling her “Whore” is the dumbest asshole ever .. She was a “Whore” yet you shagged her unprotected got her pregnant!! God have mercy on those supporting tomfoolery!! #respectwomen,” he tweeted.
The controversy surrounding Sarkodie and Yvonne Nelson’s relationship track intensified with the release of his song, Try Me.
The lyrics of “Try Me” are characterized by a direct and confrontational tone.
Sarkodie acknowledges Yvonne Nelson’s courage in speaking out but also urges her to be transparent about her past relationships.
He emphasizes that she has the choice to reveal or keep private the intimate details of her personal life.
