The celebrated Kenyan music group Sauti Sol have been named among the 21 artists joining the first YouTube Black Voices Class of 2021 by YouTube Music.
The Class of 2021 is the first group of 132 Black creators and artists selected from around the world to participate in this new initiative dedicated to equipping black creators with the resources to succeed on YouTube.
All creators in the program will receive dedicated partner support from YouTube, seed funding invested into the development of their channels, and a 3-week incubator program, followed by ongoing bespoke training, workshops, and networking programs.

YouTube Music’s official page took to social media to announce the team of 21 artists amongst them Sauti Sol and shared a message to fans all over the world.

Sauti Sol also took to social media to celebrate the good news expressing that they are proud to be part of YouTube Black voices.
