Today the spotlight is on Daniella Sam and Mr.Richard Frimpong. Firstly Daniella is a student of Takoradi Senior High School and a proud member of the prestigious Head of State Award Scheme.
Daniella upon joining the award scheme, decided to take advantage of the Voluntary service component of the award program to learn a thing or two about general nursing.
Her reasons were
1. To have a fair idea of what her future career entailed.
2. To garner the needed motivation that will propel her to work harder
3. To help take care of the sick.During the long vacation, she spent her leisure time serving in the Safe Hands Clinic at Effia Kuma.
She had the rare privilege to understudy an extraordinary and highly committed Physician Assistant -Medical by name Mr. Richard Osei Frimpong.
Mr Frimpong took time off his busy schedule to educate her on most of the routine activities his team engaged in.
On regular basis, Mr Frimpong equally engaged the students in tutorial sessions that captured some topics treated in their biology and integrated science syllabus. He often gave them assignments and projects that equally required extensive research on the internet.
It is not surprising that Daniella is among the best students in her class.
It is not surprising that she is now poised to excel academically.Daniella equally loves sowing , singing and playing the guitar. She is indeed utilizing every free time available to her.
These young ones will not twerk on social media for attention and engage in all manner of vices because they know their worth.
We thank all her mentors especially Mr. Frimpong of Safe Hands Clinic for the time and energy invested in this little angel.
We challenge others to sacrifice some of their spare time to mentor and inspire our young ones.
Our young ones are our future.
