From Sales Rep To General Manager How Jane Maga Led Tang Palace Hotel To Win Best 4-Star Hotel In Accra

Receiving the award on behalf of the hotel was Jane Maga Appiah Korang, General Manager of Tang Palace Hotel , who served as Deputy General Manager from October 2025 to August 2026 before assuming her current role.

Tang Palace Hotel has been awarded the 4-Star Hotel of the Year Greater Accra Region at the Ghana Tourism Authority Regional Tourism Awards 2026.

The awards ceremony, held under the theme Celebrating Excellence Beyond Borders :The Blackstar Experience, recognized excellence in hospitality and tourism in the Greater Accra Region.

Receiving the award on behalf of the hotel was Jane Maga Appiah Korang, General Manager of Tang Palace Hotel , who served as Deputy General Manager from October 2025 to August 2026 before assuming her current role.

In a post celebrating the win, Jane Maga Appiah Korang expressed her gratitude, stating that being part of the team that worked tirelessly to serve guests and become the most preferred hotel in Accra and Ghana means more than words can say.

She described her journey from a Sales and Marketing background into leading operations as one filled with curves, steep learning moments and moments of self doubt and grace, noting that leadership is not about knowing it all, but about listening, learning, giving and leaning on your team.

Jane dedicated the award to every staff member of Tang Palace Hotel who shows up every day and gives their best, adding that from Sales Rep to Sales and Marketing Manager to Deputy GM to GM to award winning team, God has been faithful.
