
Board members for Vodafone Ghana Music Awards have annulled the Artiste of the Year and Most Popular Song of the Year honours following Stonebwoy and Shattawale’s commotion at this year’s event.
The decision was taken by the VGMA Board this Thursday afternoon in a press concference in Accra as part of the measures taken to sanction the two artistes for bringing the ceremony into desrepute with their misconduct.
According to the board the two aforementioned awards would have been won by the two rivals on the night of the event before the unfortunate incident happened. NoBody will awarded for those two categories this year.
As at now the late Dancehall Queen Ebony Reigns who was crowned the Artiste of the Year last year at the VGMA’s still remains the Artiste of Year.
