Techiman came to a standstill on Saturday 11th May as Seidu Rafiwu made a grand entry with his team after his Guiness World Records Walk-a-thon attempt.
The young chap who hails from Techiman in the Bono East Region of Ghana on Friday 26th April at exactly 9 A.M. began a walking marathon journey from Techiman to Accra in a quest to break the infamous Guiness World Records farthest Walking Marathon in 24 Hours.

According to Seidu Rafiwu , the several challenges he faced while organising and embarking on this deleterious journey could not preclude his goal of trekking from Techiman to Accra .
The young chap during his media tour post the walking marathon which ended at the Independence Square in Accra on 30th April 2024 at 10 A.M. divulged that he isn’t only aiming at breaking the Guiness World Records but as well wants to capitalise on the opportunity to promote ahead of the forthcoming December 7 polls in Ghana.

Seidu Rafiwu Received a warm welcome in Techiman as chiefs, dignitaries and the entire city congratulated him on his accomplishments.
He stopped by the palace of Hansua near Techiman to receive homely blessings while journeying to Techiman .
