World Corporate Golf Challenge Ghana Launches 2026 Season, National Final Set for July 10

The World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) Ghana has officially launched its 2026 tournament season, with the National Final slated for July 10, 2026, at Achimota Golf Club.

The announcement was made during a media briefing in Accra, where organizers confirmed that the corporate golf event will return to bring together the country’s business elite for a mix of competitive sport and high-level networking.

Regarded globally as the largest corporate golf initiative, the WCGC offers executives, business owners, and decision-makers a platform to connect and compete. This year’s Ghana edition will draw participants from sectors including banking, telecommunications, energy, and technology.

The winning corporate team from the National Final will represent Ghana at the WCGC World Finals in Beijing, China, with all expenses covered. They will compete against corporate golf champions from more than 30 countries for global recognition and networking opportunities

Speaking at the launch, Executive Partner of WCGC Ghana, Catherine Fabbi, said golf continues to serve as a strategic tool for strengthening business relationships and building long-term partnerships.

The 2026 season is backed by several sponsors and partners, including Boab Engineering Services Limited (BESL), Landers Oil and Gas, Raju Ghana Ltd, Black Star Group, Office Bureau, The GC Brand by Ghandour Cosmetics Ltd, Balfour Beatty, Levotude Ltd, and Micasso Tiles.

Organizers said the tournament reinforces golf’s role as more than a sport, positioning it as a platform for business engagement and relationship building among Ghana’s corporate leaders.

The National Final on July 10 at Achimota Golf Club will determine which team earns the right to carry Ghana’s flag to Beijing later this year.
