Abronye Bar Call: So Cheap To Become A Lawyer Now–Netizens React After Photo of Abronye Called to the Bar Trends

Brong Ahafo NPP Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe popularly known as Abronye DC, has allegedly been called to the Bar.

Abronye, in a viral social media photo which many doubt is fit for a lawyer, was seen apparently celebrating his new designation as a lawyer.

The photo shows the controversial politician in the typical lawyer’s gown indicating he had received his call.

Whilst some controversy remains over whether Abronye actually took and passed the bar and has received his call, there is no controversy over netizens being completely incensed at him becoming a lawyer.

One netizen shared the photo with the caption: “How can this guy become a lawyer? Is it that cheap? Wei! Or they can just accept anybody,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, has also been called to the bar at the same time as Abronye.

Netizens raised the same concern, wondering whether the legal profession is now for sale in Ghana rather than being on merit – especially considering the arbitrary disqualification of someone like Ama Governor.
