Elizabeth II , British’s monarch has been honored with service of thanksgiving held today 16th September, 2022 in Accra.

The service was was organised by the British High Commission in Ghana in collaboration with the Anglican Church saw the likes of His Excellency the Vice President of Ghana Dr. Mamoud Bawumia , the British High Commissioner to Ghana Her Excellency Harriet Thompson, Anglican priests, Ga Chiefs ,the medi and more.

The Queen’s thanksgiving service was held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral in Accra. H.E Hariet Thompson delivered a speech to enlighten the congregation of how the late Queen Elizabeth II has built strong ties with Ghana. She described her as a lovely person.
Elizabeth II died on the 8th of September, 2022 at the Balmoral Castle in the United Kingdom. Her son Charles III has taken over the throne after her demise.
