Empress Gifty Donates GHC10,000 to Aburi Girls SHS
Ghanaian gospel singer, Empress Gifty , has donated GHC10,000 to the final year students of Aburi Girls Senior High School.The donation was made during the school’s Annual Thanksgiving Service, which was held to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the 1998 year group.

According to Empress Gifty, the donation was made in memory of her late mother. In a post on social media, she said: “I donated GHC10,000 to the final year students of Aburi Girls Senior High School during my performance at their Annual Thanksgiving Service. May all final year students across the country come out with flying colours this year.”

This gesture comes just a week after Empress Gifty laid her mother to rest. The funeral service, which was held on Saturday, January 18, at the Tema Community 8 No. 3 School Park, was well-attended by dignitaries and sympathizers who came to pay their respects to the late matriarch.
