Keta Senior High Technical School ( KETASCO ) celebrated its 70th anniversary with a plea to the government and stakeholders to help address the infrastructure deficit in the school.
The Headmaster, Mr Issac Dzidzienyo, highlighted the school’s struggles with infrastructure, which have been hampering academic work.

Mr Issac Dzidzienyo specifically cited the lack of improvement or expansion of the three laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology, which was designated as “The Science Resource Centre” in the 80s. This facility now caters to over 700 students, a significant increase from the original 45, necessitating its expansion.

Other infrastructure challenges highlighted by the Headmaster included the absence of an assembly hall, forcing social gatherings and mock examinations to be held under trees.
