Seidu Rafiwu has donated items to Aworowa Orphanage Home at Aworowa in the Bono East Region following his Guiness World Records walking marathon attempt.

As promised during his media tour , Rafiwu on Saturday July 13 donated food items, toiletries, and educational materials, worth thousands of Ghanaian cedis together with his team. The items included bags of rice, cartons of oil, biscuits, and boxes of soap, among others.

The manager of the orphanage expressed his gratitude to Rafiwu for his kind gesture. ‘We are grateful for Rafiwu’s support,’ He said. ‘His donation will go a long way in supporting the children’s well-being.
Seidu Rafiwu in April 2024 made headlines for attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest walking marathon . He walked 383 kilometers in 96 hours from Techiman to Accra in an attempt to surpass Jesse Casteneda of America’s 48-year-old record.

Rafiwu started his journey on April 26, 2024, in Techiman and finished his walk-a-thon at the Independence Square in Accra on April 30, 2024.
Seidu Rafiwu faced challenges during his journey, including controversies about his health. He was rewarded GH₵10,000 (Ghanaian cedi) by the Member of Parliament for Techiman South Constituency Hon. Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah for his remarkable record attempt.
