It has been all sorrowful at the Adjiringanor Astroturf Park as thousands of people have thronged the venue the join relatives of former Blackstars player Christian Atsu to mourn .
Atsu’s unfortunate death happened on 18th February,2023 after he got trapped under his house for more than a week in a recent Turkey earthquake.

Today , Saturday March 4 marks exactly two weeks former Blackstars player Christian Atsu passed away. A one week observation rite has been held to mourn and honor the former Blackstars winger.

The likes of Asamoah Gyan , Kwadwo Asamoah, Agyeman Badu, Sulley Muntari, John Painstill, John Mensah and other former Blackstars players stormed the Adjiringanor Astroturf Park to mourn.
According to family of the deceased, Christian Atsu will be laid to rest on 17th March,2023 at the forecourt of the state house.
