Popular TV personality Afia Pokua, Vim Lady , has expressed strongly her belief that the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) is exhibiting flaws that will oust them from government.
Vim Lady, during her Egyaso Gyaso show on Okay FM, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, pointed out that the NPP seems to be repeating the same mistakes that caused them power in the 2008 elections.

Drawing parallels to the past, the TV personality emphasized that before the NPP went into opposition after the John Agyekum Kufuor government, clear signs were evident.
“The indications are evident that with the actions of the NPP, they are heading towards opposition. We, in the media, are highlighting this, but if you mention it, you get labeled as an NDC member. Whenever a party is destined for opposition, the signs are always present. For instance, during President Kufuor’s time, the signs were apparent as early as 2006, 2007. The situation worsened with the chaos caused by Alan and Nana Addo during the party’s presidential congress, where money, clothes, and even last-minute dollars were being distributed,” she expressed in Twi.

Vim Lady reveals more reasons the NPP is likely to go into opposition
Vim Lady further stated that another reason why the NPP might face opposition is that they appear to be disregarding the concerns of Ghanaians. She pointed out that while Ghanaians are expressing their struggles with unemployment, the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is seen traveling around the country, boasting about digitalization.
Her comments reflect her observations and opinions on the current political landscape, and she believes that the NPP’s actions might lead to unfavorable outcomes in future elections.
