GFA to Unveil Asamoah Gyan as Ambassador on May 20 Ahead of World Cup 2026

The Ghana Football Association will formally unveil football legend Asamoah Gyan as its new ambassador in a ceremony on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the Pelican Hotel in Accra.

The event will honor Gyan’s impact on Ghanaian football and use his profile to generate excitement as the Black Stars prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in June.

In this role, Gyan will lead promotional initiatives, public engagements, and corporate partnerships aimed at bringing Ghanaians together in support of the Black Stars ahead of the tournament in North America.
